New Delhi: Pakistan’s new Prime Minister Imran Khan wants to start talks with India once again. For this, PM Imran has written a letter to the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. In the letter, it has been requested that India Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj and Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi should talk separately from the United Nations meeting. It should be known here that the General Assembly of the United Nations is to meet next month. It is believed that PM Modi had given a hint to improve the relationship between the two countries in the past. In response to this, Imran Khan has written this letter to PM Modi. Earlier, after winning the election, Imran Khan said that if India takes one step forward, then it will take two steps.

Imran Khan has sent a formal proposal through this letter to start talks with India. It is being told by quoting sources that in the letter, Pakistan has requested to restart the order of bilateral talks started in 2015. This conversation was stopped after the terrorist attack on the Pathankot airbase. The letter said that India and Pakistan should resolve terrorism and Kashmir related problems through dialogue.

It will be interesting to see what the Indian government answers to this initiative of Imran Khan. It will also have to be seen whether Sushma Swaraj meets Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi or not.
